The Art of Comfort: Opening the Space, with Dan Fendel
When you are offering comfort – whether to an ill person or a mourner – the biggest challenge is to create a safe space that allows them to acknowledge their pain. How do you get out of the way (and away from your own needs) to help them dig deeper? We’ll look at different levels on which the interaction can move forward, using the PaRDeS model, and provide some open-ended questions that can help facilitate the process.
