Kitchen Table Torah, a monthly gathering for parents of elementary-middle schoolers, facilitated by Vicky Kelman.
Ever been asked one of these questions or something similar?
Where is God?
Are we poor or are we rich?
But, what if I don’t want a Bat Mitzvah?
Why can’t I just eat what everyone else eats?
Have you ever wondered…
How can I raise a grateful child in this “entitled” culture?
Should s/he have a smartphone, yet?
Is what’s OK clothing for my kid to wear worth fighting over?
How do I juggle Yom Kippur and soccer tryouts?
These are a sample of issues we will explore together in Kitchen Table Torah. Join other parents to explore the guidance Jewish tradition can provide us on our parenting journey. We’ll meet face-to-face, one evening a month from September to May. Refer to the CNS Calendar for meeting dates.
